These batteries struck a careful balance between Ampere-Hour and—most critically—durability, quickly earning recognition as “Shwe Lin Aung Batteries” and widespread public acceptance. This early success became the cornerstone of our growth and laid the foundation for our reputation.

As market demands evolved, we expanded our offerings to include battery-powered portable lights featuring with 6 V, 8 V, and 12 V batteries under the “AUNG” brand—a name derived from the Burmese word for “victory,” symbolizing our ability to overcome any challenge. These lights, known for their user-friendly compact design and robust performance in harsh conditions, rapidly gained popularity, cementing “AUNG” as a trusted name in the lighting market.

By 1994, we had diversified into power electronics, manufacturing high-quality transformers, inverters, voltage stabilizers (both manual and automatic), battery chargers and safe-gurds in a wide range of specifications. With a steadfast commitment to consumer-focused design, we ensured that each product not only met market needs but also upheld the reliable reputation of the “AUNG” brand.
